University Center Debuts New Program Guide at June 26 Open House

University Center of Lake County will host an open house on Wednesday, June 26 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm, debuting the new guide to UC programs.

The University Center of Lake County will host an open house on Wednesday, June 26 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Attendees will be able to pick up a copy of UC’s 2019-2020 Programs of Study guide, as well as tips on choosing the best program to reach their goals, and guidance on navigating the admission process. Representatives from the member universities will be on hand to answer detailed questions about curriculum, admission, financial aid, and the process of transferring credits from a prior institution.

Programs added for 2019-2020 include:

  • Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education (leading to initial teaching licensure) from National Louis University
  • Graduate Certificate in Market Research from Elmhurst College

The event will showcase the more than 120 academic options available in Lake County from 17 colleges and universities for completing a bachelor’s degree, earning a graduate degree or pursuing professional certificates through evening, weekend, or online study. Light refreshments will be served.
