Yingling and Hart Discuss County, State Issues at Wildwood Event

State Rep. Sam Yingling and Lake County board member Sandy Hart answer questions from residents during a town hall meeting in Wildwood Weds

ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – To give local residents the opportunity to learn about state and county issues and ask questions to their local elected officials, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, and Lake County board member Sandy Hart, D-13, hosted a town hall meeting in Wildwood to discuss property tax relief, government efficiency through consolidation and public safety.

“I have made it a priority to be an open and accessible lawmaker who works with other elected officials no matter their political affiliation or level of government,” Yingling said. “Our area is better represented when everyone works together to ensure all residents have a seat at the table. My town hall meeting with county board member Sandy Hart provided a unique opportunity to visit with our mutual constituencies and answer their questions about state and local government.”

Yingling regularly hosts town hall meetings and informational seminars with other elected officials from different bodies of government and different political parties. He recently hosted a public safety forum with Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran and has a proven track record of working with his colleagues from across the political aisle to pass pro-taxpayer reforms.
