“By bringing the functions of my full time constituent service office to familiar locations throughout the 62nd District, I can help more people I serve who may otherwise have difficulty travelling all the way to my district office,” Yingling said. “My office can help residents navigate government channels to obtain assistance on an assortment of issues, and I encourage residents to utilize this event.”
Yingling’s staff will be on hand at the Wauconda Area Library located at 801 N. Main St. in Wauconda on Thursday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to noon to provide assistance with state related issues. Such issues Yingling’s office can help residents with include and are not limited to: Secretary of State/DMV matters, child support payments, job search help and access to state services that help with employment. Staff will also be available to discuss Yingling’s consolidation and anti-tax measures and answer residents’ questions about pending legislation.
Yingling’s satellite office hours are free and open to the public. People interested in attending or seeking more information are encouraged to contact Yingling’s office in Round Lake Beach by phone at 847-231-6262 or email at RepSamYingling@gmail.com.
“Going door to door and hosting satellite office hours, coffee shop community discussions, town hall meetings and other events throughout my district help me better reach out to residents and understand the issues important to my community,” said Yingling. “These efforts also help bring government to the people and ensure that the services offered by my office are equally accessible to working families, seniors, and those with limited mobility.”
