GRAYSLAKE, Ill. – Despite the continuing impasse in Springfield, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is working harder than ever in his district, by going door-to-door to provide direct updates to his constituents and solicit their thoughts and opinions on a wide range of issues.

“When I am not in Springfield for regularly scheduled legislative session, it is very important to me that I spend every second possible interacting with the people I serve to make the most of my accessibility and responsiveness,” Yingling said. “I host numerous events throughout Lake County, but going door-to- door to hear directly from residents is the most effective way for me to learn more about the issues they care deeply about, like property tax relief and passing a budget, and to answer any questions constituents may have.”

Yingling represents the 62nd District, which contains portions of Gages Lake, Grayslake, Gurnee, Hainesville, the Round Lake communities, Wauconda and Wildwood.
