ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, joined local elected officials, community leaders and business professionals in a packed College of Lake County Auditorium, to talk about the ways Lake County can be a better place for all residents to live, raise a family, retire and work.

“With so much toxicity in our political discourse lately, it is important that all community stakeholders have a seat at the table when it comes to improving our community,” Yingling said. “Tuesday’s leadership summit brought together various elected officials, community activists, law enforcement, educational leaders and non-profit representatives of all walks of life together in one room to brainstorm the ways we can continue to make our area more understanding and inclusive, and I look forward to incorporating the ideas discussed into policy.”
