GRAYSLAKE, Ill. – State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, joined other area elected officials at a legislative forum and breakfast hosted by the Lake County Municipal League this past Saturday at the Round Lake Cultural Center in Round Lake Beach. The event featured Republican and Democratic lawmakers and provided them an opportunity to talk candidly about state issues.

“These sorts of forums provide perfect opportunities for local municipal leaders to meet in one convenient location and talk with multiple lawmakers on a wide range of issues,” Yingling said. “Our local villages continue to have their challenges. This bi-partisan event helped reiterate the need for greater cooperation among all parties and amplified the pleas from everyone about the importance of reining in state spending and passing a responsible budget.”
