For the last 4 years, zombies have been seen walking through Grayslake. The Dead Last 5k brings a frightening 3.1 mile to CLC's Grayslake campus. Participants jog around the lovely CLC trail wearing a pair of flag football flags, and zombies (Volunteer students from the Grayslake High Schools) attempt to remove them. There is also a fun one mile walk for zombie fans who may be too young to traverse the full 5K trail! All proceeds go to funding The Oasis, a community center in Grayslake.
