39-Year-Old Woman Charged With 3 Counts of Retail Theft

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Fernando Mendoza, 32, of the 1000 block of Central Avenue, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication after an Aug. 10 incident in the 1800 block of Sunset Road.

Mendoza's court date is Aug. 31.

RETAIL THEFT

Betsy A. Dubrow, 39, of the 2400 block of Green Bay Road, was arrested and charged with three counts of felony retail theft. She was apprehended Aug. 12 after police identified her in the 600 block of Central Avenue.

DUI

Richard W. Thomas, 21, of the 1900 block of Country Drive, Grayslake, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, speeding and driving without a valid driver’s license after an Aug. 13 traffic stop near the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Park Avenue West.

Thomas' court date is Sept. 9.
