HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following information comes from the Highland Park Police Department as a record of incidents reported to the police and of those arrested by police. INCIDENTS

THEFT
Someone broke into a a facility in the 2700 block of Oak Street sometime prior to 7:44 a.m. on May 30 and damaged light fixtures and other items including exit signs, chandeliers and thermostats.

CAR BURGLARY
Someone broke the rear window of a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of County Line Road and stole an unknown amount of cash prior to 2:41 p.m. on May 30.

THEFT
Someone stole a laptop from the storage room of a business in the 700 block of St. John’s Avenue, police were told at 7:30 p.m. on June 1.

BIRD BURGLARY
Someone had stolen multiple adult and baby swans, as well as several metal animal pens, from the subdivision in the area of Hybernia and Aster drives, police were told on the morning of June 3.

THEFT
Someone stole two rings from a home in the 1600 block of County Line Road sometime prior to 2:13 p.m. on June 3, police were told.

THEFT
A resident in the 100 block of Hemlock Lane reported at 6:45 p.m. on June 3 that someone had stolen multiple landscaping tools with an unknown value.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Abigail Lopez, 22, of the 1900 block of South Wallace Street in Chicago, was arrested at 4:18 a.m. on June 3 and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Waukegan Road.
