wear for the fashion individualist.  This FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC collection
of clothing, studio jewelry and accessories created by artists throughout the
USA will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd
and Wednesday, April 24th
from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
and on
Thursday, April 25th from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. (or by special
appointment)
at the Highland Park
Country Club, 1201 Park Avenue West, Highland Park
.

This show/sale, held twice yearly,
is the culmination of many months of travel and research for Brodson and
Sackheim, seeking out quality, unique and affordable wearable art.  It is always changing and evolving to meet
the fashion needs of clients.  Guests at
the event will feast their eyes on artfully designed clothing made from
magnificent, hand dyed, hand painted lush silks scarves, studio jewelry for any
occasion and purses that are truly creative, all certain to perk up a wardrobe
or be the perfect gift.

Among the artists who will be
returning are Laurie Danch, Andrea Geer, TeriJo Summer, Sandi Esterman and Amy
Nguyen.  In addition, the work of several
new artists will be shown.  Jennifer
Fecker, a Chicago native, whose jewelry incorporates wool felt, Swarovski
crystals and leather, will be at the Art wear unlimited show soon after showing
her work at the highly acclaimed Smithsonian Institute’s Craft Fair in
Washington D.C.  Jennifer’s pieces are fresh, exciting and wearable for most occasions.

African textiles transformed into
modern designs, the work of I.B. Bayo, will be on display.  The artist uses techniques from his native
Nigeria to create fabrics and styles that would be the highlight of any wardrobe.  Chic purses by Arza of New York will make
their debut at this season’s event.  Made
from premium Italian leather, each hand crafted bag incorporates an innovative
“hands free” design in contemporary shapes.
They define wearable art.

Brodson and Sackheim have each
been involved in the art world for many years.
They have a true passion for their business, the artists they represent
and the excitement of providing an opportunity for individuals in the Chicago
area to purchase art wear from very talented craftspeople throughout the
country, many of whom do not otherwise show their work in the Chicago area.  In addition to the two of them, experienced
personal shoppers are on hand to help customers find the perfect item to
enhance and complement a particular look.
