HIGHLAND PARK, IL - A North Shore School District 112 teacher received a Golden Apple award earlier this month. Cindy Rossman, a MyPath teacher at Braeside Elementary School, was presented the award during a surprise assembly by the Highland Park Community Foundation. The HPCF Golden Apple award is modeled after, and done in cooperation with, the Chicago-area nonprofit Golden Apple. Students began "cheering and chanting" Rossman's name when she received the award, according to a District news release.
