Burglar Breaks Into Occupied Home On Green Bay Road: Blotter
There's a pair of home burglaries and two DUI arrests on the Highland Park police blotter from Jan. 22 to Jan 28.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following information comes from the Highland Park police department and court records as a record of incidents reported to the police and of those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt.
INCIDENTS
HOME BURGLARIES
- A resident in the 1900 block of Green Bay Road reported around 1 p.m. on Jan. 23 that someone had broken into their home through the front door while the resident was at home. The burglar fled without taking anything after realizing the home was occupied.
- Someone broke into a home in the 1000 block of Golf Avenue sometime prior to 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 27, stealing more than $4,000 worth of valuables and cash from inside.
ARRESTS

Montrell Dillon, 33, of the 3200 block of Wembley Drive, Zion, was arrested at 11:19 p.m. on Jan. 22 and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, after officers noticed him stopped in the road in the area of Skokie Valley and Half Day roads. He was also issued a citation for illegal stopping.
Lisa Koukos, 58, of the 900 block of Windsor Road, Highland Park, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. on Jan. 23 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol by officers responded to an unspecified call in the 1600 block of Deerfield Road.
