Car Stolen From Highland Park Discovered In South Suburb: Blotter
Dolton police notify resident their car was stolen; officers encounter Iowa woman with Illinois arrest warrant: Highland Park Police Blotter

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following information comes from the Highland Park and Highwood police departments and public records as a record of incidents reported to the police and of those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt.
INCIDENTS
STOLEN CAR
A resident in the 200 block of Cedar Avenue was notified around 3:45 a.m. on Feb. 12 that their car had been stolen and recovered by Dolton police. The owner was not aware the car was stolen.
CAR BURGLARY
A resident in the 1300 block of St. John's Avenue reported around 2 p.m. on Feb. 12 that someone had rummaged through their car during the previous night. Nothing was listed as stolen at the time of the report.

THEFT
A resident in the 1600 block of Deerfield Road reported around 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 13 that an unidentified person had stolen their wallet.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
Litzet Rojas, 26, of the 1400 block of Belle Avenue in Davenport, Iowa, was arrested around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 14 after officers called to the 1700 block of St. John's Avenue discovered an active in-state warrant for her arrest issued issued after she failed to appear in court.
