Cars Egged Overnight on Judson Ave.: Cops

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Robert J. Carlsen, 19, of the 500 block of Onwentsia Avenue was arrested and charged with domestic battery, possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis and consumption of alcohol by a minor after police responded to a complaint in the 500 block of Onwentsia Avenue at 4:17 p.m. on Dec. 26.

DRIVING WITH NO VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE

Roberto Garduno-Madagan, 27, North Chicago was arrested and charged with driving with no valid driver’s license after police responded to a traffic incident in the 1500 block of Skokie Valley Road at 12:29 p.m. on Dec. 27.

Javier Villalobos-Garcia, 18, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving with no valid driver’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle after police conducted a traffic stop for speeding near the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Parkside Drive at 1:05 a.m. on Dec. 28.

Miguel A. Simon-Cruz, 44, Highwood was arrested and charged with driving with no valid driver’s license after police responded to a traffic accident near the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Half Day Road at 5:25 a.m. on Dec. 28.

Marisa N. Mendoza, 23, Lake Villa was arrested and charged with driving with no valid driver’s license and disobeying a red light after police responded to a traffic accident near the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Half Day Road at 5:48 a.m. on Dec. 28.

THEFT

Sometime between Sept. 14 and Dec. 16, numerous pieces of jewelry were reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Woodland Road.

At 9 p.m. on Dec. 21, unknown person(s) departed a business in the 0-100 block of Skokie Valley Road without paying for a service.

On Dec. 22, it was reported that cash, which was left outside for another party, was stolen in the 500 block of Hillside Drive.

STOLEN VEHICLE

Sometime between 4:45 a.m. and 4:55 a.m. on Dec. 23, it was reported that a vehicle, which was left unlocked and keys in the ignition, was stolen from a driveway of a residence in the 300 block of Temple Avenue.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Sometime between 1 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Dec. 24, it was reported that unknown person(s) threw eggs at two vehicles parked on the street outside a residence on the 700 block of Judson Avenue.
