Caucus Seeks 2017 Candidates for District 112 School Board

Interviews scheduled soon to determine four candidates to be endorsed by Caucus in April 2017 election.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL - The North Shore School District 112 Caucus is seeking candidates to endorse for school board in the 2017 election.

"We are looking for the potential candidates who are best qualified to serve the needs of our students and community on the Board over the course of the next four years," the Caucus board wrote in a recent memo, noting that four seats are up for election in April 2017.

The Caucus - a group that says it does not advocate for any particular agenda - has more than 60 community members. Their board consists of Andrea Wintroub (caucus chair), Mandy Castle (publicity chair) and Dan Struck (secretary).

The Caucus states its "sole goal" is to identify and endorse for election candidates who are qualified to serve on the District 112 Board.

Candidate questionnaires will be available on Nov. 19, with interviews and endorsement meetings scheduled for Dec. 3.
