Celebrate Highwood Donates $5,000 to HP - Highwood Legal Aid Clinic

Funds will support making vital legal services available to community in need

Celebrate Highwood is proud to present a check for $5,000 today to Highland Park-Highwood Legal Aid Clinic from its first ever North Shore Taco 5K Run & Walk held on Saturday, July 22.

$4,500 was raised at the Run and an additional $500 was donated by Celebrate Highwood, a newly established 501(c)(3) which produces events that cater to the wants and needs of the citizens, businesses and visitors of Highwood all while raising money for local and regional charities.

"Celebrate Highwood is thrilled to support Highland Park-Highwood Legal Aid Clinic in its mission to make vital legal services available to our community in need and we look forward to partnering with them again next year," said Eric Falberg, President of Celebrate Highwood.

"Celebrate Highwood is a valued partner with the Highland Park-Highwood Legal Aid Clinic,” stated Executive Director Susan Shulman. “Thanks to the outpouring of support by so many in Highwood, Highland Park, and beyond at the inaugural North Shore Taco Run, the Clinic will be able to assist even more people in need of legal assistance in the areas of immigration, domestic violence, and housing."
