Chicago Man Caught With Pot Charged With Possession, Intent to Deliver

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

RETAIL THEFT

Alec Ryan, 19, of the 1400 block of Woodhill Drive, Northbrook, was arrested and charged with retail theft after a July 18 incident in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road.

Ryan's was released on bail, and his court date is Aug. 24.

ORDER OF PROTECTION

Amar Ashraf Hamili, 21, of the 2100 block of St. Johns Avenue, was arrested and charged with violating an order of protection after a July 18 incident in the 3000 block of Murphy Road.

RETAIL THEFT

Ann M. Singer, 79, of the 300 block of Green Bay Road, was arrested and charged with retail theft and criminal trespass to property after a July 22 incident in the 600 block of Roger Williams Avenue.

Singer's court date is Aug. 19.

POT POSSESSION

Andrew L. Weaver, 30, of the 300 block of West Evergreen Avenue, Chicago, was arrested and charged with possession of pot and possession of pot with the intent to deliver after police after a July 24 incident in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road.

Weaver was released on a recognizance bond with a court date of August 15, 2016 in Waukegan.
