Criminal Damage Charge Follows Domestic Dispute Call: HP Blotter
Incidents and arrests from the Highland Park police blotter from Sept. 4 to Sept. 10.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following information comes from the Highland Park Police Department and court records as a record of incidents reported to the police and of those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt.
INCIDENTS
BICYCLE THEFT
Someone stole a bike from a back hallway near a business in the 600 block of Central Avenue sometime prior to 10:13 a.m. on Sept. 5.

LOCKER THEFT
A patron of the L.A. Fitness at 115 Skokie Valley Road reported someone stole a wallet and cell phone from a locked locker sometime prior to 3:35 p.m. on Sept. 8.

ARRESTS
Guy Jacobson, 45, of the 600 block of Lotus Place in Highland Park, was arrested around 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 6 and charged with criminal damage to a vehicle and disorderly conduct after police were called to a report of a domestic dispute in the 3000 block of Summit Avenue. Police said the incident remained under investigation.
A 24-year-old Waukegan man was arrested around 4 a.m. on Sept. 9 and charged with driving with a suspended license. He was also cited for reckless driving, speeding, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle following a traffic stop on northbound Route 41.
A 25-year-old Highland Park man was arrested around 7 p.m. on Sept. 9 and charged with driving with a suspended license after pulled pulled him over for an unspecified reason at the intersection of Green Bay Road and Prairie Avenue.
