DESIGN QUARTET AT RAVINIA HOSTS SECOND DESIGN AND DINE EVENT: EDUCATIONAL SERIES FOCUS ON PLANNING A STRESS FREE REMODEL PROJECT

Design Quartet at Ravinia (DQ@R) is excited to host their second in a series of "Design & Dine" themed Third Thursday events in Ravinia

Design Quartet at Ravinia (DQ@R) is excited to host their second in a series of “Design & Dine” themed Third Thursday events in the Ravinia District on July 16 from 5-8pm. DQ@R will be providing expertise to attendees regarding how to choose the right designer to plan, begin, and execute any remodeling project. DQ@R will be co-hosting the event with Full Circle Architects. Extensive refreshments, interesting conversation and educational opportunities will abound at both businesses. For individuals passionate about interior design or considering an upcoming remodel, this is an event not to be missed.

DQ@R will host a discussion titled “How to Stay Sane While Remodeling Your Home.” Design professionals will provide attendees with tips on how to create and stay within budget and time frames, as well as how to choose a designer that is the right fit for the project. The team at DQ@R is equipped with years of interior design experience and guide clients through any sized remodeling project. The beautiful Highland Park showroom, located in the Ravinia District, is a leading supplier of Crystal Cabinets and offers extensive lines of flooring, hardware, tile and countertops. The ability to make design choices all at one easy, nearby location with accessible free parking is invaluable in keeping sane while undertaking an often times overwhelming project.

DQ@R team member Steve Westlund says, “We cannot wait to share our enthusiasm and knowledge base for interior design with the community. Having recently celebrated our one year anniversary in the Ravinia District, we have established some terrific relationships and look forward continuing in that regard.”

Additional features of the evening include a raffle benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, an organization that is near and dear to Westlund’s heart. He will be riding in his eighth Scenic Shore 150, a fund raising bicycle ride put on by the Leukemia & Lymphoma society on July 18 and 19. This evening marks the last opportunity for the public to make a $10 donation and thus be entered into a raffle to win a Giant Escape bicycle or Cubs tickets for August 12 at 7:05 pm against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Design & Dine co-host, Full Circle Architects, will be holding 3 “edutainment” sessions; Indoor/Outdoor Spaces at 5pm, Roof & Vertical Gardens at 6pm, and Home Greenhouses & Glass Enclosures at 7pm. Attendees who visit both businesses will be eligible to win raffle tickets that include Ravinia festival tickets and more!
