Driver Faces DUI, Open Container Charges After Crash: Cops

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

Giovani Bueno, 22, of the 1200 block of Fulton Avenue, Waukegan, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving without insurance after a May 2 crash near the 1300 block of Half Day Road.

Bueno's court date is June 3.

DUI

Rubisel Campos Flores, 39, of the 5400 block of South Fairfield Avenue, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use, driving with a suspended license, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving without insurance after a May 4 traffic stop near the intersection of County Line Road and the Edens
Expressway.

Flores was released on bail, and his court date is June 3.

DUI

Gary A. Mikhaylov, 48, of the 300 block of Red Oak Lane, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and possession of pot after a May 6 traffic stop near the intersection of Clavey Road and Half Day Road.

Mikhaylov's court date is June 3

DUI

Kenneth P. Robinson, 33, of the 1400 block of Montesano Avenue, Waukegan, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a May 14 crash in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road.

Robinson's court date is June 24.

THEFT

Sandra J. Franko Maxson, 59, of the 400 block of Central Avenue, was arrested and charged with theft under $300 after a May 14 complaint in the 1800 block of Green Bay Road.

Maxson's court date is June 22.
