Drunk Driver With Drugs Charged With Endangering Child: Blotter
Gun and DUI charge for Chicago man after driving complaint; Bolingbrook man on drugs found parked outside home: Highland Park Police Blotter

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following information comes from the Highland Park and Highwood police departments and public records as a record of incidents reported to the police and of those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt.
INCIDENTS
THEFT
Someone stole a wallet from a locker at an unspecified location in the 1200 block of Park Avenue West sometime prior to 1:15 p.m. on May 19, police were told.
CAR BURGLARIES

- Someone burglarized three unlocked cars parked in the 2700 block of Summit Avenue during the overnight hours of May 13 to May 14. In two cases, the cars were rummaged through but nothing was stolen. In another, various miscellaneous property was reported stolen. Police have not identified any possible suspects.
- Shortly before 3 a.m. on May 15, an officer on patrol noticed a vehicle with a side door left open and its dome light on in the area of Idlewood Lane and Auburn Avenue. The owner told the officer it looked like someone had rummaged through the interior without stealing anything.
ARRESTS
Anthony Willis, Jr., 31, of the 11000 block of South Campbell Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. on May 13 after officers pulled him over in the area of Route 41 and Old Elm Road. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 or greater, driving with a suspended or revoked license and endangering the life of a child. He was also issued citations for speeding between 26 and 34 mph above the limit, improper lane usage, improper signaling and illegal transportation of an open container of alcohol.

Timothy Joliffe, 21, of the 6800 block of West Highland Avenue, Chicago was arrested around 4 a.m. on May 18 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 or greater following a traffic stop in the area of Skokie Valley and Clavey roads.
William Gordillo, 33, of the 500 block of Powers Court, Chicago, was arrested at 6:10 a.m. on May 18 and charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and driving under the influence of alcohol after police received a complaint about a driver on Second Street.
Ty Ford, 39, of the 600 block of Whitehall Way, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. on May 18 and charged with driving under the influence of drugs after officers were called to the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue for a complaint about a car parked in front of a home.
