DUI Arrests Made in Highland Park
Five were charged with driving under the influence in a four-day span before Christmas in Highland Park.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL - Police in Highland Park made five DUI arrests in four days last week, two of which involved residents of Highland Park allegedly obstructing a police officer after an accident.
On Dec. 20 at 3:03 a.m., a 31-year-old Lake Forest man was charged with driving under the influence, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage after police conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Half Day Road.
On Dec. 22 at 4:45 p.m., a 45-year-old Highland Park man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, obstructing a peace officer and illegal transportation of alcohol after police responded to an accident in the 300 block of Walker Avenue.

Five hours later, a 47-year-old Lake Forest woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and impeding traffic after police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Hyacinth Place and Western Avenue.
On Dec. 23 at 1:44 a.m., a 51-year-old Deerfield man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after police conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Fredrickson Place.

That night at 7:54 p.m., a 56-year-old Highland Park woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and obstructing a peace officer after police responded to an accident in the 1600 block of Deerfield Road.
