In an environment that is both safe and challenging, explore the human need for transcendence through a dialogical study of insightful and challenging texts, ranging from those of Franz Kafka to the Bible and the S'fat Emet, a late 19th century Hassidic rabbi (all in English). Getting to God is a journey whereby you can:
- Identify your own desire to connect to the divine Source of Being
- Acknowledge the difficulties and challenges of doubt on the road toward belief
- Open yourself to the possibility of faith
- Examine two potential paths and how they inform your journey
- Enhance your proclivity for connecting, finding the difference between faith and trust and how that relates to right-brain and left-brain spirituality
Leave with a renewed sense of spiritual possibility and building blocks for doing so. This course is relevant and open to anyone of any spiritual or religious belief.
