Graffiti Found at Ravinia Train Station: Cops

A residential burglary on Charal Lane was reported three days after it occurred.

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Shaqurah Bell, 21, Waukegan was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 3000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 12:34 a.m. on October 19.

THEFT

A tailgate was taken from a 2016 Ford F-250 sometime between 6 p.m. on October 17 and 7:30 a.m. on October 23 while the vehicle was parked in the 1300 block of Park Avenue West.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Police responded to a delayed report of a residential burglary in the 300 block of Charal Lane on October 23 that occurred on Tuesday, October 20 at approximately 1:30 p.m. Costume jewelry was reported missing.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Graffiti was observed on the west side boardwalk of the Ravinia train station in the 700 block of St. John’s Avenue at 8:43 a.m. on October 24. The graffiti consisted of letters and words written in white spray paint.

THEFT

Credit cards were taken from three different wallets after being left in unlocked lockers at a business in the 700 block of Vine Avenue sometime between 12:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on October 25. Fraudulent purchases were later found to be made.
