Beloved husband of Vickie Metnick Block.

Loving father of Jeannie (Terry) Reed, Richard (Michelle) Block and the late Maureen MD (Steven) Bernstein, and step-father of Joshua Metnick, Sarah (Gregory) Neikrug and Rebekah (Michael MD) Jacobs.

Proud grandfather of Courtney (John), Timothy, Carlye, Eden, Cory, Whitney, Maya, Micah, Henry and Gracie.

Dear brother of Robert (Sue Barkhurst) Block.

Adoring uncle of many nieces and nephews.

An active and loving member of “Still Acting Up” and a loyal Cubs fan. He will be missed by “Bentley the dog”

Service Sunday 2PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie.
