Louis was the owner-operator of Lou's Trenching Service.

Louis J. Fabbri of Highland Park, IL passed away quietly on Saturday, December 26th, youngest son of the late Sisto and Lioneldi Fabbri. He is preceded in death by his sister Clara (“Curley”) Berti and his brother, Oliver “Musty” (Charlene). Lou was a retired lieutenant of the Highland Park Fire Department, Local 822 and a past member of heavy equipment operators and owner operator of Lou’s Trenching Service. Lou served honorably in the US army during the Korean War and was a member of local VFW Post 4741 (Comrades of Highwood). Louis is survived by his wife, “Alfie” and his children Daniel, Linda, Thomas and Dean, and his grandchildren Ryan (Angela), Jennifer, Nicholas, Adriano and Angelina, Jessie and Jody and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 9:00 am until time of funeral mass 10:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 134 North Ave. Highwood, IL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
