Rose J. Burgess, (nee Calcaterra), 92, formerly of Highland Park, IL passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Roy C. Burgess; loving mother of Eric (Patricia) Burgess, Daniel (Margaret) Burgess, Robert (Joanna) Burgess, Jim Burgess, and the late Myra Murphy; fond grandmother of James (Kristine) Burgess, Brian (fiance Jessica Cavallo) Burgess, Michael Burgess, Steven Burgess, Julie Fiorelli-Bougie (Jon) and John Fiorelli. Rose had been an active member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Italian Women’s Prosperity Club, The Moose Lodge of Highland Park, and Highland Park Seniors. A visitation will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home and Crematory, 1787 Deerfield Road, Highland Park, IL. Service and interment private.
