Highwood Transforms Into Nashville for 2nd Annual Nashwood Event
Weekend of live music, pedal pub bike tours, and Southern-inspired food & drink specials August 24-26, Downtown Highwood

After a widely successful inaugural event, Celebrate Highwood will transform its downtown into Nashwood as it pays homage to Nashville’s Honky Tonk Row. Attendees of all ages are encouraged to don their cowboy boots and hats, the weekend of August 24-26th, as live country, bluegrass, jazz, gospel, blues and Southern rock music radiates from over 20 bars, restaurant and stages, Friday happy hour through well into Sunday evening!
Nashwood will feature a full line-up of live music showcased at various indoor and outdoor venues throughout downtown Highwood. In addition to the venues, there will be four outdoor stages, including the “Pralines & Cream” Stage, the “Chicken & Waffle” Stage, the “Whistle Stop” Stage and the “Red Solo Cup” Stage, which will also include a vendor area in the parking lot across from Buffo’s at 431 Sheridan Road.
There will be no cover charges at any of the establishments throughout the weekend, but tips are encouraged to support the bands “Nashville-style” (*exception at 210 Live Saturday night for their main act, Grammy nominated Robbie Fulks Band).
