HPHS Basketball Star Signs Letter of Intent

It will be much warmer weather year-round for David Sachs.

Highland Park High School senior David Sachs signed a letter of intent May 19 to play basketball at Barry University in Miami, Florida. David was HP’s starting point guard for the past three years.

Sachs, who was the starting point guard for the Giants for the past three years, finished his career 10th all-time in scoring, 5th in 3-pointers made, 2nd in steals and 2nd in assists. He was Team MVP and was selected CSL all-conference during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons and only the second player in HPHS history to be a three-time MVP.
