HPHS Student Achieves Perfect ACT Score

Daniella Cohen, a junior, is one of very few across the nation to get a 36.

Highland Park High School junior Daniella Cohen achieved the highest possible composite score of 36 on the ACT college admission and placement exam she took in February, according to a press release from ACT.

“While test scores are just one of the many criteria that most colleges consider when making admission decisions, your exceptional ACT composite score should prove helpful as you pursue your education and career goals,” ACT CEO Jon Whitmore wrote in a letter recognizing Cohen’s exceptional achievement.

On average, less than one-tenth of one percent of students who take the ACT earn the top score.
