Intergovernmental Agreement Signed Between Parks, Schools
The Park District of Highland Park and North Shore School District 112 will provide rent-free use of each other's facilities.

The Park District of Highland Park and North Shore School District 112 jointly announced Wednesday that they have signed a 10-year Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) that provides mutual, rent-free use of the two governments’ respective facilities.
The School District provides use of its facilities to the Park District for summer camps and athletic programs, and the Park District provides use of its facilities to the School District and maintains various School District properties.
“We are glad NSSD 112 has agreed to renew the long-standing IGA allowing the Park District to continue to hold our summer camps and athletic programs at school facilities,” said Scott Meyers, President of the Board of Commissioners for the Park District of Highland Park. “This Intergovernmental Agreement has benefitted Park District residents and families for more than three decades, and as a result of the renewal, will continue to benefit our community for at least another decade.”
