New Board Members Appointed by District 112
Two newcomers will fill seats left vacant by resignations of Michael Cohn and Jacqueline Denham.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL - The North Shore School District 112 board of education has selected two people to fill the board seats left vacant by the resignations of Michael Cohn and Jacqueline Denham.
Lauren Klayman will serve the remaining four months of the term vacated by Denham, according to a district news release, and Adam Kornblatt will serve the remaining two years of the term vacated by Cohn.
The current five members of the board made their selections during a special closed session meeting on Wednesday. The selections were made after the district received applications from more than 25 people interested in the positions.

Klayman is a district parent who works as a massage therapist. Kornblatt is an attorney who serves on the district's Reconfiguration 2.0 committee.
Klayman and Kornblatt will be officially inducted to the board during its regular Jan. 17 meeting.
