Gardner will lie in state from 10 a.m. Tuesday April 26, until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1334 Wesley Ave., Evanston. Interment will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Skokie.
