He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail, and his grandson, Nicholas.
Joe was a humble man who always tried to put others first, and loved his family dearly. He was a successful businessman across a wide variety of industries, including real estate and toy distribution.
He had a passion for history, taking classes even in his later years, and loved watching the Cubs and Bulls. He also had a wonderful and quirky sense of humor. In his later years he was dealt a tough hand, but handled it with characteristic grace and strength, caring for his wife Gail during her illness while also dealing with his own health problems. He will truly be missed.
