'Pokémon Go': A Map of Where to Catch 'Em in Highland Park

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — A couple weeks ago, Patch asked residents to perform a public service: Tell us where to find all the Pokémon, PokéStops and Pokémon gyms around Highland Park in the mobile augmented reality game Pokémon Go.

Thankfully, Highland Park residents amateur Pokémon trainers stepped up. And we mapped out where people found different game items and characters.

Here's what people have discovered and shared with Patch so far in Highland Park:

Also, Downtown Highland Park is holding a Pokéwalk Challenge from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3. The fun begins at Port Clinton Square, 600 Central Ave., and runs throughout the city.
