Police Search for Suspect in Strong-Arm Robbery at Park
The victim was pushed to the ground from behind Friday afternoon at Sunset Woods Park, and an unknown man fled with his wallet.
HIGHLAND PARK, IL—Police are investigating a report of a strong-arm robbery Friday afternoon at Sunset Woods Park, according to a city alert.
A man told Highland Park police that at about noon Friday, June 3, he was at the park, 1801 Sunset Road, when he was pushed to the ground from behind by an unknown assailant who then took the victim's wallet, the alert stated. The assailant then escaped on foot, the report added.

No weapons were used, and the victim wasn't hurt.

- a Hispanic male
- about 18 years old
- 5-feet-5, 250 pounds
The suspect was wearing a black hoodie and shorts at the time of the incident, according to police.
