CARE - made up of citizens in District 112 - has been vocal about its opposition to the school’s plan to create one Middle School campus at the current site of Red Oak and Sherwood elementary schools in southwest Highland Park.

“We are not against change or reconfiguration. We are against the current plan that calls for a single middle school campus,” has been the consistent statement from members of the group.
