See a Model of the Proposed D112 Middle School Campus
The board of education will also present district boundaries set forth as part of "BDR 3" at its next meeting.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL - Residents of North Shore School District 112 will have the chance to see a 3-D computer modeling of the proposed middle school campus and hear from the architects behind the plan at the next board meeting, set for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1 at 1936 Green Bay Road in Highland Park
“The architects will show how the floor plans have been modified to address the information and feedback received during staff meetings,” according to a District 112 memo. “They will also discuss the site design and strategies for ecological management. In addition, a model of the entire site will be available for attendees to review.”
Administrators will also introduce draft boundaries for the district’s schools upon implementation of a plan - referred to by the District as “Budget Deficit Reduction 3” - that calls for the closing of Elm Place Middle School, Green Bay Early Childhood Center, Lincoln Elementary School and Ravinia Elementary School.

The “Budget Deficit Reduction 3” plan is expected to go into effect beginning with the 2017-18 school year should the referendum placed on the ballot for March 15 fail.
If the referendum passes, five schools will close: Elm Place, Green Bay, Lincoln, Sherwood Elementary School and Red Oak Elementary School. The proposed middle school campus would take up the space where Red Oak and Sherwood are currently.
