"My Life," run by a non-profit to open facility on St. John's Avenue.

Keshet, a non-profit organization that provides educational, recreational, vocational and social programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities, operating according to traditional Jewish values, plans to start “My Life,” a residential program at 2121 St. John’s Avenue, according to the Daily North Shore. The program will enable residents to become active members of the community in a caring home that promotes independence and a meaningful life.

“We feel that this program will fit the needs for adults, by offering the chance for independence and acceptance for our special needs community members, something that we are constantly striving for,” said Abbie Weisberg, CEO and Executive Director of Keshet.
