TASTE THE RAINBOW PRIDE PICNIC & PUB CRAWL

Van Gogh Vodka Hosts Diversity Celebration and fundraiser in Highwood June 18, 2016

HIGHWOOD, IL (June 18, 2016) – Celebrate Highwood is proud to partner once again with Van Gogh Vodka for its 4th Annual Taste the Rainbow Pride Picnic & Pub Crawl June 18, 2016 from 3 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. in Downtown Highwood. In light of the recent tragedy in Orlando, FL, Celebrate Highwood, Van Gogh Vodka and a number of businesses have joined together for a ‘Van Gogh for Orlando’ fundraiser in support of the LGBTQ community during its local pride event.

To celebrate Pride Fest locally, the Taste the Rainbow picnic begins at 3 p.m. in Cellar Gate Wine Market’s courtyard at 524 Sheridan Road, Highwood with a pub crawl throughout six Highwood businesses beginning at 5 p.m. The party continues into the night with DJ Versage at The Humble Pub, 336 Green Bay Road at 9:30 p.m. to show that love always wins.

Each bar is serving different Van Gogh Vodka mixed drinks inspired by a different color of the rainbow to celebrate diversity: Red Sangria at Cellar Gate Wine Market, Orange Screwdrivers at Teddy O’Brian’s, Yellow Lemon Drops at The Wooden Nickel, Green Appletinis at The Toadstool Pub, Blue Crushes at Bar 210, and Purple Acai Blueberry and Club Sodas at The Humble Pub.
