Tattoo Parlor Among 3 New Businesses in Highwood Train Station
Creative new art cooperative takes shape with Hydra Electric Tattoo, the North Shore's only tattoo parlor.

HIGHWOOD, IL - 3 Barrels Studio, the creative new art cooperative combining comic drawing, tattoos and art exhibitions, celebrated its grand opening Friday at the Highwood train station, 317 Green Bay Road.
City officials and business leaders gathered to welcome Superhero for Hire, which offers photo realistic comic drawing; Hydra Electric Tattoo, the North Shore’s only licenses tattoo parlor; and The Midwest Art Initiative, a group of more than 80 Midwest artists who host philanthropic art exhibitions.
