The Highland Park police station at 1677 Old Deerfield Road will be the only shelter open 24 hours. Those in need of warmth during the daytime can go to the West Ridge Center, 636 Ridge Road from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday; the Highland Park Public Library, 494 Laurel Avenue from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Highland Park City Hall, 1707 St. John's Avenue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patch file photo / Tim Moran
