Several chain restaurants like Applebee’s, Bob Evans, IHOP and Cracker Barrell will be open on Thanksgiving. Others like The Olive Garden, Hooters and The Outback Steakhouse will be closed.
Locally on the North Shore, Restaurant Michael in Winnetka, the Real Urban BBQ locations in Highland Park and Vernon Hills and Prairie Grass Cafe in Northbrook will be among the ones open during at least a portion of the day on the holiday.
