Wrong Way Driver Was Suspended: Cops
A Winnetka man racks up charges for resisting police, DUI and failure to report an accident.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Thaddus Williams, 27, Zion was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after police responded to a vehicle accident near Half Day Road and Skokie Valley Road at 12:09 p.m. on September 21.

CHILDREN NOT SAFELY SECURED
Nena Jarta, 33, Zion was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to secure two children in safety belts after police had responded to a driving complaint in the 1400 block of Green Bay Road at 7:59 p.m. on September 22.

WARRANT FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Timothy Shanahan, 38, Milwaukee turned himself in on an outstanding Highland Park warrant for disorderly conduct at 3:09 p.m. on September 23.
RETAIL THEFT
Gloria Avila, 49, Highwood was arrested and charged with retail theft after police responded to a report of a shoplifter at a business in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 10:02 p.m. on September 23.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Alfredo Vidal-Roman, 48, Waukegan was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road at 2:23 a.m. on September 24.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Anthony Schlade, 44, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and driving the wrong way on a one way street after being stopped by police near Glencoe Avenue and Lincoln Avenue West at 12:40 p.m. on September 24.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
David Trandel, 50, Winnetka was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, resisting a police officer and failure to report a property damage accident after police responded to a report of an accident in the 600 block of Vine Avenue at 10:29 p.m. on September 25.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Corieonte Jackson, 28, Great Lakes was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and improper lane usage after being stopped by police near Park Avenue West and Skokie Valley Road at 12:40 p.m. on September 24.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Unknown person(s) damaged a screen located on the west side of the train station in the 1700 block of St. Johns Avenue sometime before 7:56 a.m. on September 21.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
An unknown person entered an unlocked Chevrolet pick-up sometime between 6 p.m. on September 19 and 2 p.m. on September 20 and removed a wallet and medications while the vehicle was parked in a garage in the 900 block of Half Day Road.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Unknown subjects drew graffiti with sidewalk chalk in the tunnel underneath the 2000 block of Sheridan Road sometime before 3:14 p.m. on September 25. There was no permanent damage to the property.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
Unknown subjects “egged” a Honda Accord sometime between 8 p.m. on September 26 and September 27 at 4:15 p.m. while parked on the street in the 1500 block of Arbor Avenue.
