Back To School: Hinsdale D86 Dates You Need To Know

HINSDALE, IL – It's a little more than a week until the start of class at Hinsdale High School District 86.

Here's a look at the district's calendar for the 2023-24 year:

• Aug. 21: First day of school
• Sept. 4: Labor Day, no school
• Oct. 9: Columbus-Indigenous Peoples Day, no school
• Nov. 22-24: Thanksgiving break, no school
• Dec. 25-Jan. 5: Winter break, no school
• Jan. 8: Teacher Institute, no school
• Jan. 15: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, no school
• Feb. 19: Presidents Day, no school
• March 1: Teacher Institute, no school
• March 25-29: Spring break, no school
• May 23: High school graduation
• May 27: Memorial Day, no school
• June 7: Last day of school (If bad weather days are not used, the last day of school will be May 31.)
