Chicago Philharmonic Chamber Players Set Series in Hinsdale

The first concert on March 1 will be "Classic Winds: Dance Music of Mozart, Dvorak and More."

Chicago Philharmonic Chamber Players have lined up a three concerts in Hinsdale for spring 2015.

The concerts will take place at the Union Church of Hinsdale (137 S. Garfield Ave.), according to Chicago Philharmonic.

Tickets for each of the three concerts are free for attendees age 18 and younger. Advance tickets are $15 general, $10 senior. Tickets at the door are $20 general, $15 senior. Tickets can be bought online or by calling 312-957-0000.

Music lovers are invited to meet performers after the concert at a complimentary reception, with refreshments provided by Whole Foods Market, Hinsdale.

In April, the players will bring together Beethoven and Schumann “in one of chamber music’s lushest configurations: the piano trio,” according to Chicago Philharmonic.

The May concert will be “Mother’s Day Potpourri,” which will mix classical favorites and classical takes on pop songs.
