Clarendon Hills Man Crashes, Faces DUI Charge: Cops

The man hit a car with its hazard lights on and later refused to submit to sobriety tests, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

DUIs

  • Michael DiCianni, 29, of Clarendon Hills, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Saturday at 55th and Monroe streets on charges of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and use of an unsafe tire. Police said DiCianni hit a disabled car that was parked on the roadway with its hazard lights on. DiCianni refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Jasmine Arroyo, 22, of Chicago, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Friday at Route 83 and 55th Street on charges of DUI, driving the wrong way, expired registration and use of an unsafe tire. Police were called to a crash with injuries involving a wrong-way driver. Arroyo's car was missing a front passenger side tire. She submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit. She was released and given a date to appear in court.

  • Lance W. Dudley, 21, of Oswego, was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Oct. 18 in the 400 block of West Ogden Avenue on a Kendall County warrant and charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding more than 35 miles over the limit. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Car burglary

  • A car was burglarized overnight Oct. 18 in a driveway in the 400 block of East Ninth Street. The victim's wallet was stolen. The case is pending.

  • Suspects were seen on surveillance video trying to enter cars parked in a driveway about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of West Ninth Street. No entry was gained.

Hit-and-run

  • A parked car was hit between 2:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 6 in the 900 block of South Vine Street. Someone left a note on the car with a telephone number, but has not responded to texts and phone calls. The hit-and-run was reported 14 days after the crash. The case is pending.

Eggings

  • Halloween decorations were damaged and an egg was thrown at a person's house about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of South Stough Street. The victim saw three people running away when the damage occurred.
  • Someone threw eggs at a car parked in the street between 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday in the 10 block of South Monroe Street.
