Fox Valley Youth Orchestras Auditions

The Fox Valley Academy of Music Performance invites students, ages 8-18, to audition for the second half of its 2014-2015 season. Strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion players should prepare a solo that shows off the student’s abilities and scales for the audition. The Fox Valley Academy of Music Performance is comprised of various performing ensembles which include the Academy Orchestra, Youth Strings, Access to Music, and the adult Philharmonic Orchestra. Ensembles will rehearse on Sundays from January through April, with a fun summer session in May and June. The Academy Orchestra is the only local orchestra that has “members only” auditions for its Concerto Competition each season.
