Hinsdale D86 Board To Vote On Teacher Pact
The document is being kept under wraps from the public, as is the tradition in Illinois.

HINSDALE, IL – The Hinsdale High School District 86 board is planning to vote Thursday on a new contract with its teachers union.
Following the tradition of school districts across the state, the board is keeping the document secret from the public until after the vote.
The teachers union contract is no minor detail. The spending associated with such a document makes up a big chunk of any district's budget.

The contract is expected to take effect July 1.
The district is likely already crafting a news release on the union contract and will likely issue it shortly after the vote.

Officials announced in early February that they had struck a tentative deal with the union. This is a major piece of business to be finished before a new board majority takes control in May.
