Hinsdale Man Displays Gun In Road Rage Incident: Cops
In another case, suspects were seen stealing liquor bottles at a store, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving road rage, retail theft, failure to report an accident and DUI. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale reports:
Gun displayed
- A crash occurred about 4 p.m. July 30 at Grant Street and Ayres Avenue after a road rage incident. A 26-year-old Hinsdale man who lives in the 100 block of East Maple Street confronted another driver while displaying a handgun, police said. The 26-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct and released. He was given a date to appear in court. Patch has filed a public records request for the police report.
Retail theft

- Suspects were seen on surveillance footage stealing liquor bottles about 4:30 pm. July 30 at Whole Foods, 500 E. Ogden Ave. The case is pending.
Failure to report accident
- A 77-year-old Willowbrook man was cited about 11 a.m. July 29 on charges of failure to report an accident to the police and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Police said a witness saw the man crash into another car and then drive away. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
DUI

- A 29-year-old Berwyn woman was arrested shortly after midnight Thursday at Ogden Avenue and Pasquinelli Drive on charges of DUI, resisting or obstructing a police officer, speeding, and driving an uninsured car. She refused to submit to testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
